Abstract
Much research has been instituted and completed regading the needs of the olderpresons and the task that remains is the implemention of a multidimensional plan to meet the economic social emotional physical and intellectual needsof these people in Egeypt care of the elderly was somewhat neglected for slong time.
The problems of the aged encountered in the living can be numerous.
The way they manage these problems depends on their resources (physical, social, emotional, economic and spiri tual).
The aged should be allowed to mainain independence as long as possible yet they should realize that assistance is avai lable if needed.
