Abstract This thesis comprises four main I Aim of the work Our project is the development of oxime containing Schiff base ligand and to the synthesis novel metal complexes. We are interested in characterizing new ligand and its metal complexes by elemental and spectral analyses. Also, the study includes new antitumor activity inorganic compounds. Chapter II: Introduction. It includes a literature survey on oximes, their metal complexes and their applications. Chapter III: Experimental. This chapter involves :- 1-Methods used for preparation of the ligand and its metal complexes and also, the techniques used such as :- 1-Elemental analyses. 2-Molar conductivity. Summary - 3 - 3-Mass spectra. 4-Thermal analyses. 5-1H-NMR spectra. 6-IR spectra. 7-Electronic absorbtion spectra. 8-Magnetic susceptibility. 9-ESR spectra. 2- Preparation of the ligand and its metal complexes. 3-Antitumor activity. Chapter V: Results and discussion : In this chapter, it involves the results and the disscution of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II), Zn(II), ZrO(II), Cd(II), Sr(II), Hg(II), Tl(II) and UO2(II) complexes of (3E)-2-(hydroxyimino)-N-P-Tolyl-3-(Ptolylimino) butanamide (HL) . |
