Abstract Name of the Candidate: Waheed Mohammed Salem Mohammed Title of thesis: Physico- chemical studies on some pharmaceutical compounds. Degree: (Ph. D.) thesis, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, Benha University This work was focus on investigated drug Aripiprazole (AEZ) Olanzapine (OEZ) and Tenoxicam (TEZ) for its electrochemical behavior through oxidation reaction at carbon paste and glassy carbon electrode in universal buffer to develop differential pulls voltammetric procedure for the limited of detection. The study examines the effect of surfactants as SDS, TMOB and Tritone-X-450 on the electrochemical behavior of the drugs under investigation. The study in solid state of the investigated drugs through thermal analysis techniques TG, DrTGA, DTA, and DSC was carried out. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters were calculated using Arrhenius, Ozawa, Coats-Redfern, and Horowitz-Metzger methods for interpretation of thermal degradation Key word: AEZ, OEZ, TEZ, thermal analysis, differential pulse voltammetry, raw material, pharmaceutical preparations, TG, DTA and DSC. |
