Abstract

Twenty-five adult female rats were used in this study. they were divided into two groups: A control group consisted of five rats for studying the normal histology and the ultra structure of the ovary and an experimental group consisted of twenty rats all of them were given propylthiouracil (PTU) for fourteen days to induce hypothyroidism.
