Abstract Definition of Quality of Life is WHO definition as individuals’ perception of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns. It is a broad ranging concept, includes both positive and negative facets of life. It is multi-dimensional incorporating six broad domains: physical domain; psychological domain; level of independence; social relationships; environment; and spirituality/religion/ personal beliefs. There are several variable options for evaluating health related quality of life in patients with epilepsy, the use of QOL measurement in clinical practice settings may improve the quality of care for people with epilepsy through: Increasing the detection of patient’s problems with daily functioning and well-being. Guiding therapeutic management leading to improvements in patients HRQOL and satisfaction with care. An epileptic seizure is a clinical event. Seizure presentation depends on location of onset in the brain, patterns of propagation and a variety of other factors. Seizure can affect sensory, motor, and autonomic function; consciousness; emotional state; memory; cognition; or behavior. Not all seizures affect all of the previous factors, but all influence at least one. In this context, sensory manifestations are taken to include somato-sensory, auditory, visual, olfactory, gustatory, and vestibular senses, and also more complex internal sensations consisting of complex perceptual distortions.
