Abstract Reviewing the different futures of diabetic retinopathy in its different types and diabetic macular changes. Evaluation of the diagnostic value of fluoresce in angiographies in the diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy. Study of the pattern of fluorescing angiographies and pathos gnomonic signs of diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy. Fluorescent angiographies has an important role diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutic evaluation. fluorescein angiographies was particularly helpful in exposing the depth of pathology in diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy it gives a clear idea of the integrity of the vascular try gives a clear idea of the integrity of the vascular tree itself .also it helps in the classification of diabetic maculopathy into stages .so, the severity of the disease could be detected and followed up. Fluoresce in angiographies reveals more micro aneurysms than could be detected by ophthalmoscope and it could differentiate between micro aneurysms from dot and small blot hemorrhages. Also. Fluoresce in angiographies for diabetics is helpful for the determination of the suitable time for interference with laser to be of benefit for the patient. In addition, it is helpful to follow the progress of disease and to assess the condition after treatment. |
