Abstract
Heavy metal ions contamination that results from several industries like fertilizer, plating bath, etc....remains a serious environmental problemand presents a threat to living systems and to human health .Many attempts have been made to develop different methods for treatment of industrial wastewater. chelating resins with different functionalities attract attention due to their high efficiency, selectivity and durability .Biopolymers have recently been studies as support material for different chelating agents.
