Abstract Development of bacterial resistance to aminogolycoside antibiotics is mainly due to AGlEs. The AG1ES are classified according to their mode of modification into three groups, aminoglycosido N-acetylating enzymes, O- phosphorylating enzymes, and O-adenylylating enzymes. B-lactamase production is the most commonly involved in bacterial resistance to B-lactamase antibiotics. |
