Abstract
In this work ceramic varistor samples with the chemical formula, (100-x)ZnO-x Y, where Yis either AL2O3 or MnO2, respectively, and x in the range of 0-1 mol.% have been prepared by a solid state reaction method. All samples were sintered at 1200c for 2 hr. Then they were annealed at 1200c for different times from 0 to 5 hr to from five different series according to their annealing times.
