المستخلص

I started my research with an introduction in which I handled the importance of the research , the reasons of choosing the topic , the methodology I used and the basis of the research , then I presented a preface in which I talked about the influence of the political life on the cultural and scientific life . After that I presented a bibliography of the rhetorical lesson in the nineteenth century in which I mentioned the most important rhetorical writings in this century and I arranged them according to the death of the authors then I stated the geographical environments from which the writers of the rhetorical books come and whom I mentioned in the bibliography , then I moved to the chapter of the message which are as follows : The first chapter : Revival of the rhetorical heritage Firstly : the followed forms for reviving the rhetorical heritage including :
1- Summarizing the old rhetorical books : in which I handled group of books whose writers tried to summarize the books of the rhetorical heritage which belong to El Sakaki
2- The annotations : in which I handled many annotations and the pieces on which theses annotations were put .
3- Abbreviation of annotations
4- Aragoza in which I handled the books which contained one Aragoza whose poetry contained the rhetoric aspects or one aspect of them .
5- The poetic representation for a kind of rhetoric types : in which I handled the books whose writers made poetic verses including examples of a kind of rhetoric types and I mentioned a model of this .

6- Rhetorical figures of speech : in which I handled the books which included rhetorical figures of speech and I mentioned models from every books .
7- Question and answer : in which I mentioned the books which handled the rhetorical subject by question and answer and I mentioned models for this .
Secondly : the methodologies followed for the revival of the rhetorical heritage : 1 – The logical concise methodology : in which I handled the books which followed this methodology , namely, the books which highlighted the basis rather than the literary taste and the literary analysis and I analyzed one of these books . 2 – The collective methodology : in which I handled the books whose writers tried to collect the different rhetoric arts without classifying them according to their three materials and the books in which their writers collected rhetorical subjects and non rhetorical one and I mentioned examples for this . 3 – The historical methodology : in which I handled the books which narrated to the rhetoric pioneers and which were written in this century and I gave examples for this century and I gave examples for this . 4 – The functional methodology : in which I handled the books whom writers functions the rhetoric to reach their aims as the explanation of the Quran for example and I mentioned models of these books . Thirdly : Aims of the rhetoric authorship : in which I handled the aims which the authors sought to achieve and the most remarkable thing is the educational aims as the writers tried to help the scholars to understand the rhetorical materials so they handled them by the way which they considered that it assists the scholars in their studies . In this chapter I studied and analyzed the book ”Ghosan El Ban El Moreka by the linguistic improvements” by El Konoby describing it as a model for this connection ; the author of the book mentioned many Indian and Persian rhetorical kinds and he said that they were the first persons who used them and that they are new to the Arab rhetoric , but after my study for these types in details , it was shown that most of them are not new and the new ones of them were presented to go with the age demands, but this new kinds are not encouraged by the rhetorical men as they did not add a great value to our Arab rhetoric so the rhetorical men did not use them and did not make researches on the . The third chapter : connecting to the western rhetoric : In this chapter, I studied the book ”philosophy of rhetoric” of Gabr Domt in details whose writer founded it on one principle which is the concision principle and he divided it into two parts : The first part : restriction to the hearer attention The second part : restriction to the hearer and how he was influenced . Gabr Domt tried to prove that the rhetoric with all its rules and branches concentrates on restriction to the attention and impression of the hearer . Worth mentioning here is that Domt benefited from the English philosopher Herbert Spenser in his book ”Philosophy of Style” in putting this principle so the book is considered a model for connecting to the western rhetoric . Also he is inclined to renewing and he is unique in his age . Then I ended my research by a conclusion in which I mentioned the most important results extracted from this study then I stated a list of resources and references.
