Abstract

This investigation was conducted on the 12 soil samples collected from El-Gabal El-Asfar farm which subjected to sewage irrigation for different periods i.e.,0.10.20.30 years. Soil samples were taken at depths of 0-30 cm, 30-60 cm,60-90 cm and 90-120 cm. Soil samples collected from the studies profiles were air dried, sieved through a2 mm sieve and analyzed for some physical and chemical properties. Also determine the effect of using wastewater for irrigation on soil properties, determine heavy metals concentrations of the studied soils and chemical forms by sequential extraction in soils such as( Cd, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn). Assessment of metals concentration in soil according to : Geoaccumulation index(I geo), Enrichment Factor (EF), Contamination Factor(cf) and Modified Degree of Contamination (Cd), finally, Mobility Factor(MF). On the other hand determine the concentrations and uptake of heavy metals in plant (Faba been). then calculated of biological accumulation coefficient (BAC), biological concentration factor(BCF)and translocation factor(TF).
