Abstract

his study aimed to assess the degree of stress and anxiety in patients who they will make the process of dental implants and that by measuring the rate of increase in cortisol in blood.
Find ways:
Ten cases were selected from patients attending surgery clinic Faculty of Dentistry, University of the Suez Canal. Transplant operation was performed for each patient’s teeth.
Was to assess the degree of stress and anxiety in patients and that by measuring the rate of increase in cortisol blood has been done through the withdrawal of five samples for each patient.
The first sample was withdrawn a week before the procedure has been regarded as this sample is the basis on which it is compared to other measurements. Then the second sample was withdrawn immediately before the procedure. The third sample was during the procedure. The sample IV Vtm the withdrawn after four hours of the procedure. And fifth sample after forty-eight hours of the procedure. After collecting samples and frozen at twenty degrees below zero were analyzed by ELISA test.
