Abstract

Water in the form of vabor, liquid, and soilds persents underground structure with many problems. this research gives an idea about the insulation used for protaction of concrete structures by using various insulation system.
the main objective of this research was to study the water permeability and compressive strength of concrete containing silica fume(SF), fly ash (FA), and super pozz(SP) ,high slag portland cement, and limestone portland cement to achieve the best concrete mixture have lowest permeability. to make self insulation concrete.
in this study, effects of mineral admixtures, fiber glass and mesh fiber glass on the water permeability and compressive strenght of concrete were experimentally investiated. permeability of concrete was determined throught DIN 1048(PART 5). the research variables included cement type, ordinary portland cement (OPC). or high slag portland cement (HSPC), or limestone portland cement (LPC) , and mineral admixtures content were used as a partial cement replacement.
