Abstract
The present study was conduced to investigate the possible
therapeutic effect of some seeds on impaired liver function of injected
rats with carbon tetrachloride (CCl4).
The current study was performed on a total of 35 male albino
rats weighing 150-160 g. Rats were fed on normal (basal) diet and water
was provided means of glass tubes. The animals were divided into 7
equal groups; one group was kept as a (C –ve) group, while the other 6
groups were injected s/c by carbon tetrachloride ( CCl4) in paraffin oil
50% V/V (2ml / kg B.Wt.) twice a week for two weeks to induce
Hepatotoxicity.
