Abstract
The present work was designed to study the ability of antioxidiants (vitamin C and Vitamin E ) to attenuate 1-Methy1-4phyeny1-1,2,3,6- tetrahyDROPyridine )MPTP) neurodegenerative toxicity in mive.
the aim was achieved through : 1- Evaluation of MPTP model of PD in mice.
2- Determination of the possible prophylactic efects of antioxidiants (vitamin C and vitamin E on MPTP-induced PD. fuctional evaluation was done for the locomotor performance and motor coordination in the open field test and rotarod tests, respectvely.
