Abstract
L. monocytogenes is zoonosis - causing agent pathogenic to many mammalin and birds’ species and has increasingly been
recognized as an important food - borne pathogen . 31 Listeria isolates were detected with an overall incidence
of 12.4 % from a total of 250 giblet samples from fresh slaughtered chickens.
