Abstract Considering the influence of various parameters simultaneously, it has been observed that to get the maximum value of dissolved oxygen transfer following conclusion is justified: 1. The value of dissolved oxygen transfer is proportional to the turbulence created by the aerator motion, i.e. the higher the aerator speed, the greater is the turbulence which results in enhanced value of dissolved oxygen. 2. The value of dissolved oxygen transfer and aeration efficiency depends upon the relative depth of submerged of the aerator in the liquid. 3. The aeration time may be chosen between 30 to 60 min, higher speed and for three arrangements on the aeration tame 4. The aeration efficiency which compares the performance of aerators mainly depends on the power consumption of the aerator. In some cases, it is found that even though the value of dissolved oxygen is higher, the aeration efficiency DROPs drastically. This is mainly because of the increase in power consumption for that particular set up. 5. The aeration efficiency which compares the performance of aerators mainly depends on the correct arrangements of the aerator in the tank; we can use more than one aerators but allow the flow without cross or concentrate at one location. 6. Aerators should be placed in a tank, they can be located where the current of each aerator enhances the flow produced by the others aerators. 7. Enlarging the diffusers coverage area in the tank will increase each of dissolved oxygen Transfer capacity, and Efficiency and, the percentage of oxygen absorption because It establishes the bubble circulation and mixing pattern produced within the tank. |
