Abstract Sixty mature female (150-200gm) and twenty mature male 100-250gm) albino rats were used in this study. Females were xamined daily using vaginal smear technique to ensure that they were I regular estrous cycle. Female proved to be in estrous phase were sted with mature male rat in a separate cage. After mating a vaginal near was taken. The presence of sperms indicated zero day of estation. Then pregnant female albino rats (15 females selected from ID”) were separated from the stud and divided into three main groups ve for each group): roup I: Served as control group which received corn oil only as vehicle. roup 11: Orally administered 1/20 LDso of BP A (200mg/kg b.wt./day) dissolved in corn oil via stomach tube. [roup Ill: Orally administered (50 mg/kg b.wt /day) of BPA dissolved in corn oil via stomach tube. The pregnant females (dams) dosed BP A daily according to Ir groups from gestational day I (GD 1 ) till weaning of their springs. The weaned male rat offsprings of three groups ( 6 in each IUp) are still administered postnatally (after weaning) with the same es that given for their dams daily till maturity (120 days old). At end of experiment mature F 1 male offsprings were weighted then :rified, followed by collection of blood without anticoagulant for m preparation for biochemical study (determination of testosterone LH levels).
