Abstract
The present investigation is an attempt to clarify the physiological and biochemical alteration associated with osteoporosis in female albino rats and the beneficial effects of hormonal replacement treatment.
Results were obtained from the treated experimental animal groups and compared with the corresponding normal control rat group.
The present finding were further discussed in view of relevant literature available in similar fields of studies
The following parameters were estimated:
Electrolytes, lipid profile, Thyroid and Parathyroid hormones, Fertility hormonal profile and Tumor markers.
Those parameters were chosen to elucidate the impact of osteoporoses and the ameliorating effects of hormonal replacement treatment.
In the light of the results obtained, conclusions deducted and suggestions for further studies were introduced.
