Abstract The effect of incoming free stream Reynolds number, flow angle of attack, and the span angle of the V-shaped body have been considered. It is seen that increasing the Reynolds number decreases the size of the Recirculation zone downstream of the V-shaped body. The same effect is evident with decreasing the span angle of the V-shaped body. Also the change in the flow angle of attack slightly shifts the recirculation zone in the vertical plane. For the two bodies in tandem, it is seen that increasing the space between the two bodies increases the size of the recirculation zone. For the two bodies at the same plane, decreasing the space between the two bodies, improves the merging between the two recirculation zones generated by the two bodies. |
