Abstract Parasitic hymenoptera is one of the most taxonomyically complicated groups of insects(Rasnitsyn, 1980)it includes most species rich and abundant components of terrestrial ecosystems.Aim of the work. 1.survey of common parasitoid wasps of the superfamily ichneumonoidea in Suez Canal region using Malaise trap,light trap and sweeping net. 2.Identification of the collected species using suitable taxonomic keys and consulting specialists. 3.Construction of dichotomous keys to the collected species with the illustrations of important taxonomic characters. 4.seasonal abundance and distribution of the most abundant species. |
