Abstract
The subterranean termite Psainnotermos arbostoma
Desn.) is considered as one of the most destructive
pest in the arid and semi—arid eoosystemes, especially in Upper Egypt.
The present study had been conducted in Sohag Governorate for covering the following points:
1— Studying the protozoan fauna of P. ybostp
a— Iorphc1ogy, ident ii cat ion and the re1etis abundance of different species of Protozoa:
Four species of Protozoa from order Iiyperasti4d€. were identified in the guts of diflexentostes of
