Abstract The ability of renewable sources of energy to meet human energy requirements has never been in question. However, their use and implementation has been restrained due to the fact the percentage of functional energy generated from these sources is less, and because they are subject to a number of limitations. The problems being faced these days due to extensive use of non-renewable sources of energy have brought about a change in this mind set. Non-renewable energy sources are being depleted at a rapid rate these days. If this continues, the earth will be completely exhausted of all its natural energy reserves within a few years. To add to this, there have also been problems associated with vehicular emissions and environmental damage due to massive usage of fossil fuels. This has brought pressure on many countries of the world to reduce their C02 emissions and go for the use of cheaper and non-polluting energy sources. The Earth’s geothermal resources are theoretically more than adequate to supply humanity’s energy needs, but only a very small fraction may be profitably exploited. Drilling and exploration for deep resources is very expensive. Forecasts for the future of geothermal power depend on assumptions about technology, energy prices, subsidies, and interest rates. To let people specially architecture and designers to be aware of a clean, renewable, and nature recourses of cheap, more safe, and non run-off energy. These recourses have many applications in all facilities, the renewable resources more safe and even if its expensive in using it for the first time but at the long run it more cheep and save. In thinking for the comming generation this resources have long live and can create many applications which serve human and more useful in all sides ofthier life. Expecting that geothermal energy is the proper renewable technology for the designers to meet their interests, but also to meet their income goals and creates the safe legal environment to reduce the risks associated with enviromental pollution In this report i’ll define the geothermal technology and its application in several fields, dividing in five sections: In the frist: i) Defining the geothermal energy resources, places and its early history of usage in all live applications. ii) The rating of Generating Capacity of geothermal countries. iii) Organization which interested by this tecnology. In the second: i) The advantage and disadvantage of generating and using geothermal technology, its benefits and impacts. ii) Comparing geothermal as a source of energy and anther sources. |
