The research casts light on the issue of conflict from the perspective that aims to clarify the three major roles of a project (owner, consultant and contractor) in the conflict in terms of sources that lead to evolution and how to avoid it with a review of the project management processes in their various stages, for the implementation of construction projects according to time schedule and estimated cost in advance
The study mentions also peaceful resolution of the dispute, which passes before reaching the judiciary or international arbitration, and procedures.
The main objective of the research is : to know the causes of construction disputes, the most common and the different methods of solution which passes by the conflict to reach the stage of international arbitration, in the context of understanding the nature of arbitration and the various stages. those responsible for the project have to be aware of the causes of conflict and work to avoid them in the beginning of the project, the speed of handling and decision-making with the claims as they arise, and to avoid escalation and entering into litigation, which has lengthy and complicated procedures, As arbitration could be improved or be misused.
The research consists of six chapters:
Chapter!: Literature Review
This section displays the previous studies in the definition of the conflict and the causes and variables that affect it, and then a compilation of the recommended measures to prevent conflicts that are affected by the circumstances and the nature of the place and the behavior of people and their culture, which vary from place to place, with a review of alternative means to resolve disputes, and specify factors affecting their mean is selection.
Chapter 2: Management of projects construction causes of conflict and how to avoid them.
This chapter displays the major stages of the project based on the Egyptian Code No. 311-2009 for the management of construction projects as a benchmark identifying the key actions during each phase and the tasks and obligations of each party to words the project (owner, Consultant and Contractor), It mentions as wel\ external factors that affect management of the project, and contains the causes of conflicts, the most famous and repetitive, which has been divided into four main parts, first part Contractual Matters the second Cultural Matters, the third Management and organization of project parties the last part displays the nature of the project specifying the methods of conflict prevention,
