Abstract

In this study total of (260) carp species were represented as 100 common carp (Cyprinus carpio), 100 silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) and 60 snail carp (Mylopharyngodon picens) were collected randomly and seasonally Clinical signs and postmortem lesions were recorded of bacterial diseases affecting carp fishes. The most prevailing bacterial diseases affecting carp were motile aeromonas septicemia, pseudomonas septicemia, enterobacteriacae infectious disease and Gram-positive infectious disease with an incidence of 57, 38, 35 and 43% respectively The isolated bacteria from naturally infected fishes were identified as Aeromonadaceae (Aeromonas sobria, A. veronii, A. jandaei and A. hyDROPhila), Enterobacteriaceae (Citrobacter freundii and Enterobacter species), Pseudomonadaceae (Pseudomonas anguilliseptica and Ps. fluorescens) and Gram positive sp (Lactobacillus sp. and Micrococcus sp.). aerolysin gene was detected in some isolates of A. sobria and A. hyDROPhila when it did not detected in A. veronii.A. sobria was sensitive to ciprofloxacin, streptomycin, Trimethoprim + sulphamethoxazol and tetracycline and resistance to ampicillin, Erthromycine, Kanamycin and Vancomycin. Treated by injection of ciprofloxacin and controlled by feeding withyeast as immunestimulant and vaccination by formalized killed vaccine by I\P injection and feeding.
