Abstract
Breast cancer ranks as one of the major health problem of women, specifically it the most common types of cancer in middle aged women as well as the leading type of cancer causing mortality. The only valid method for reducing breast cancer mortality is early detection and prompt treatment of the disease. Early detection by breast self-examination, Itincludes inspection and palpation of the breasts in both a standing and lying position. Attention is focused on evaluating for any changes. Breast self examination (BSE) will usually take 20 to 30 minutes. The study carried out to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice of the study sample about BSE in EI-Minia City and Tallha Village, teach the BSE technique to the study sample.
