Abstract

The diagnosis of impaired mobility is multifaceted. Impaired mobility is seen in a wide variety of patients in varying degrees.
Although in some cases immobilization considered to be necessary to promote wound healing, proper skeletal alignments or rest after an illness that involves risk it might as well have a harmful effect on every aspect of the person’s J’:~e.Nurses need to approach the problem of impaired mobility with an awareness of the extensive effects it can have on their patients. Intervention must begin early enough to keep a person mobile and to prevent a spiral of adverse effects.
