Abstract
the aim of this to evaluate the correlation between the endometrial thickness as measured by transvaginal sonography and the response to progesterone challenge test (PCT) in apparently normal asymptomatic postmenopausal females, to study other factors that may affect the response to these and to evaluate the combined use of the two techniques in the screening for endometrial abnormalities.
This study was conducted to study the correlation between endometrial thickness as measured by transvaginal ultrasound and the result of progesterone challenge test in asymptomatic postmenopausal females , to study other factors that may affect the response to these two tests and to evaluate the possible role of the combined use of these two tests in the screening for endometrial pathology.
