Abstract
For the used remoulded samples and medium size sand
We can conclude that:
1-using sand piles led to an obvious reduction in swslling
Pressure the percentage of reduction depends on the testing
Conditions in totally confined ,percentage of reduction reached an average value of 42.2%
in partially confined testing condition percentage of reduction reached
an average value of 35.3%
2- using sand piles led to an obvious reduction in swelling potential as follows
