Abstract

Total Number of Bactriologically examined chicken was (200) chickens of different ages. The isolated E coli. Identified and serotyped. from E. coli showing E. coli clinical signs Including, Respiratory tract infection, swollen head syndrome, septicemia, cellulites, refers to inflammation of the S/C tissue and is typically seen in the lower abdomens and thigh of broiler chickens, and P.M. changes were cellulites / acute enteritis, acute bactremia, Pericarditis, osteomyclities. The isolated and serotyped E. coli strains are referred for a different serotypes. Using the polyvalent and monovalent E. coli antisera were E. coli O1 (12) , O2 (9) ,O78 (17) , O8 (7), O27(3) , O119(4) , O125(5) , O126(5) , O146(4), O148(5) and O166(3) A killed vaccine ( Bacterin O78 E. coli ) and formalized and heated culture filtrate O78 prepare and used for vaccination of broiler chickens at 14 days of S/C through and challenged with E. coli O78 1 x 108 colony forming unit MacFerland tube. Unit / ml. For 3 successive days for all groups and in the same time the control with the same E. coli O78 and another control non vaccinated and non challenged. Also the vaccine were evaluated through vaccination of 150 broiler chickens and were tested for measuring the immune response for E. coli O78 vaccine using microagglutination test, from our studies it can be concluded that the main common E. coli serotype causing colibacillosis in broilers chicken ( E. coli O78 ), the using of E. coli O78.
