Abstract
Study of the care given to infants of nurses working in Assiut University Hospital.
The infants first year is a time of monumental change and acgievement. Each month and phase of development have implications for care of the child. Some of the general areas that are especially affected the infant’s development are feeding and safety. Physical care is fairly constant because the infant depends on other for bathing and diapering and the degree of the child’s independence usually is less influential than during the toddler years when the achievement of autonomy and tasks such as toilet training are important goal.
