Abstract
The present study was conducted on the apiary of Apiclture Department at El Sabahia Research Station , Alexandria, Egypt, through the 2009 and 2010 subsequent seasons of the used honey bee strain was the Carniolan hybrid Apis mellifera carnica. The chosen colonies were similar in their strength, with approximately the same number of brood combs two honey and two pollen combs, and headed by one-year old queens.
