Abstract
The present isvestiation aimed to carry out with some ticel analysis in the imperfect fungus, Aspergilus niger. dia were exposed to three chemical rautagens followed by ttempts to devolop the parasenia]. cycle and to determ— the pathogenicity of some of the mutants obtained, wild e and a diploid strain.
Three different chemical triutagens were used through this dy; diethyl sulphate flEE which was u ed in cone entr,ations 0,0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.55 end 0.6 ml DS/iOO ml L, nitrous id (NA) which was used in concentrations of 0,0.0005,0.0010, 0015 and. 0.002 Li Na /b00 m] LdU and acriflavine Al with noentrations of 0, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000 and 5)00 mg
riflavin?/100 in]. L)JIM. The treatments continued for 24 hours 37°C
The results showed:
1— W,hen PF concentrations were increased gradually the viva]. perd.eAtaged reduced giving complete lethality with the neentration of 0.6 in]. D/100 in]. IJM, Seven lysine requiring
utants were obtained with 0..4 nil DE/i00 ml 1jAM. Complenentat— on studies proved that they are belonging to different genes
cistrons. However, two adenine requiring mutts and one met— ionine mutant could be obtained with higher concentrations of tis. ]ThB was also effective in prothacing some colour mutants.
