Abstract
Searching for information is one of the main activities performed by the users of the world wide web (WWW) through the Internet. this thesis aims to : 1- Reviewing current solutions to assist user in their search tasks.
2- Understanding the technological problems that have to be faced in order to design and implement a system that works as an interface between a user (client) and a search engine . The system use the keywords entered by a user to retrieve web pages returned by a search engine like yahoo,analyses and clusters them in hierarchy to hopefully assist the user in simplifying his search
