Abstract The world population is increasing rapidly, an increase that had malic a profound mpact on the quality of life of numbers who share the life on the planet Earth. Couples and individuals have the hasic right to decide freely and responsibility the number and spacing of the children and to have the information, education and mean to do so, the responsibility of couples and individuals in the exercise of this right takes into account the needs of living and future children and their responsibility toward the community. The population of the world in mid 1989 is estimated to have been 5,234 , billion. It is currently growing at a rate of l.81 per year. If the current rate of increase continues there will be more than seven billion people on this already crowded planet by the end of this century. The explosive population growth is becoming recognized as a major obstacle to economic and social progress especially in the under developed countries of the world. Egypt is considered one of the highly populated countries in the world and among the Arab lands during the last decade. Acceptance of new ideas requires a series of stages: first, there will be awareness and knowledge of the idea, this is followed by interest, evaluation mentally, actual trial and finally acceptance and adoption. |
