Abstract It was concluded that history of trauma with vegetable matter usually predispose to filamentous fungal keratitis which is usually presented with typical clinical picture of fungal keratitis in the form of feathery margins, satellite lesions and peaked hypopyon. Filamentous fungal keratitis is more virulent and it responds well to Azoles. Non filamentous keratitis( by candida species) gives hazy clinical picture with prolonged time and responds well to Amphotericin. |
