Abstract
The main aim of the present study is to investigate the behavior of natural and solar- heated forced air passing through wheat grains.The specific objectives can be summerized as the following :1-To study the feasibility of using the plastic solar green house (span form) as asimple solar collector for heating the drying air.2-To experimentally determine the resistance to air flow in acommon variety of wheat as affected by the following variables :grain moisture,content,grain bulk density,air flow rate and the entering air characteristics.3- To distinguish between the behevior of natural and solar-heated air in removing moisture from wheat grains during daytime periods.4-To develop empirical equations,in which describing the relationship between the pressure DROP of drying air and the experimental variables.
