Abstract

deals with a very important subject. This subject is the channel coding for
the end of the 3rd generation of cellular mobile communication. In this thesis I discussed
same important coding types that we need it in HSUP A and LTE channel coding.
These codes are Reed Muller code, convolutional code and turbo code. Then we
show the channel coding specifications and many representations of the (3.75) generation
that named by High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUP A) using different types of coding.
After that, discusses the major channel coding schemes used for different transport
channels in the Long term evolution (L TE) system.
At the end, I gave same of simulations about the different coding types: convolution
code and turbo code by using MA TLAB program.
