Abstract
A wide serological diversity exists among E.coli isolates from avian colibacillosis. There is a relative increase in the prevalence of the virulence factors of E.coli isolates from the intestine of diseased chicken. OMPs of 33 different E.coli isolates representing 16 serogroup expressed 3 common polypeptide bands of MW 60.4 kDa, 40.8 kDa and 31.3 kDa after extracted and characterized using sodium dodecylsulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis SDS-PAGE.
