Abstract A total of 414 samples from different systems of the body of cattle were examined for mycoplasma isolation. This study revealed 35% isolation of mycoplasma from apparently healthy animals, 54% from diseased animals with a total percent from 45.2%. Identification of the isolated mycoplasma revealed more than one species of mycoplama; the most important isolates was M. bovis in 35.3% from the: total isolates, M. bovigenitalium 17 % and M. arginini 11. 8%. An . immunological study for estimation the concentration of nitric oxide, lysozyme , and catalase secreted from neutrophils in response to field strains of M. bovis and M, bovigenitalium that isolated from diseased and apparently healthy cattle were described. |
