Abstract
Tinnitus is known to occur as a concomitant of almost all the dysfunctions that involve the human auditory system. While tinnitus is typically a temporary sensation, it may develop into a chronic condition that is resistant to medical treatment. Several studies reported improvement of subjective tinnitus annoyance and intensity using gabapentin in combination with clonazipam. In the light of the promising clinical studies, this study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of gabapentin (alone or with combination of clonazepam) in treatment of tinnitus patients.
