Abstract

The liver and Thyroid gland hormones play a crucial role in the regulation of body metabolism by effect on some biochemical blood parameter. This study investigated the effects of thyrotoxicosis and chronic Hepatitis on several biochemical blood parameters on some body organs functions.The study was conducted with hundred and twenty patient were admitted in Minia university hospitals and forty person are healthy (control groups) the groups of patient were tested for thyroid function and H CV this group are classified as follows : Group I: (Control group) : Included Forty healthy people served as control for all groups.Group II: (thyrotoxicosis group): Included Forty people complain from hyperthyroidism rats, Group III : (Chronic hepatitis group) : Included Forty people complain from chronic hepatitis.Group IIII : (thyrotoxicosis patients with hepatic disturbances group)We take starting blood sample from control group and patients group After we take blood sample after two, four, six, and eight months blood samples were collected in clean and dry sterile sample tubes for Serum separation were separated by centrifugation at 3000 r.p.m for 10 minutes. The clean, clear serum was separated and received in dry sterile sample tubes using sterilized pipettes and then kept in a deep freeze at –20oC until used for subsequent biochemical analysis.All serum samples were analyzed for the following biochemical parameters : Anti- thyroglobulin -Antibody, Anti- peroxidase -Antibody, Total Cholesterol (TC), High-density lipoproteins cholesterol (HDL-Cholesterol), Low-density lipoproteins cholesterol (LDL-Cholesterol), Triacylglycerols (TG), Alanine - amino Transferase (ALT), Aspartate - amino Transferase (AST), Alkaline Phosphatas Albumin, total bilirubine, direct bilirubine, Thyroid stimulating hermone (TSH), Parathyroid hermone (PTH), gama glutamil trans peptidase (GGT), thyroxin (T4) – Free thyroxin (FT4), Tri-iodothyronine (T3) – (FT3) VLDL, total protein The obtained results summarized as the followings : 1- Immunity Investigations : a- Thyroglobulin – Antibody (A-TG).The concentration value of Serum Thyroglobulin antibody was significant increased in staring sample and after 2 month group in thyrotoxicosis group while it was no significant in chronic hepatitis group and also it was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.b-Thyroid peroxidase - antibody (A-TPO).Serum Thyroid Peroxidase antibody (A-TPO) was significant increased in staring sample group in thyrotoxicosis group while it was no significant increase or decrease in chronic hepatitis group and also it was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.2- Lipid Functions : a- Cholesterol.Serum cholesterol concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was significant increased after 2 month and after 4 month group in chronic hepatitis group where as it was significant increased in staring sample group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.b- HDL- Cholesterol.The Concentration value serum HDL-cholesterol was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was significant increased in after 4 month group in chronic hepatitis group.While it was significant increased in staring sample group thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.c- LDL- Cholesterol.The serum LDL-cholesterol Concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was significant increased in staring sample and after 2 month group in chronic hepatitis group.While it was significant increased in staring sample group thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.D- VLDL Serum VLDL concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was significant increased in staring sample group in chronic hepatitis group and in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.E- Triglycerides.Serum triglycerides concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was significant increased in staring sample group in chronic hepatitis group.While it was significant increased in staring sample group thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.3-Liver Investigations: a- Alanine – amino transferase (ALT).The serum alanine – amino transferase Concentration value was significant increased after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patients while it was very highly significant increased in staring sample group, and was highly significant increased after 2 months, after 4 months and after 6 months group and significant increased in after 8 months group in chronic hepatitis group also it become highly significant increased in starting sample, after 2 months, after 4 months, after 6 months after 8 months group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.b- Asparatate – amino transferase (AST).Serum Asparatate – amino transferase concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was very highly significant increased in staring sample group and highly significant increased after 2 months, after 4 months, after 6 months group and significant increased in after 8 months group in chronic hepatitis group while it was highly significant increased in starting sample, after 2 months, after 4 months, group and significant increased after 6 months after 8 months group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.C- Alkaline Phosphatase (ALK Ph).The Concentration value serum Alkaline phosphatase was significant increased after 4 months after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was highly significant increased in first sample, after 2 months Group and significant increased after 4 months after 6 month group and no significant after 8 month group in chronic hepatitis group while it was significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 months after 6 months after 8 months group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.d- Albumin The serum albumin concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was significant decreased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month, after 6 month after 8 month group in chronic hepatitis group and also it was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.e- GGT The serum GGT concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient while it become highly significant increased in staring sample group and significant increased after 2 months, after 4 month, group and no significant in after 6 month and after 8 month group in chronic hepatitis group and it become highly significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month, after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.f- Total Bilirubin The serum total Bilirubin concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was highly significant increased in staring sample group and significant increased in after 2 months, after 4 month, after 6 month after 8 month group in chronic hepatitis group and it was significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month ,after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.G- Direct Bilirubin The serum Direct Bilirubin concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was highly significant increased in first sample, after 2 months after 8 month group and significant increased after 4 months after 6 month group in chronic hepatitis group and also it was significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month, after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.a-Total protein The serum total protein concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis and thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group while it was significant decreased in after 4 month group in chronic hepatitis group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.4- thyroid investigation a- T3 The serum T3 concentration value was highly significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month, group and significant increased after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was no significant in chronic hepatitis group and it become significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month group and no significant in after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.b- FT3 The serum FT3 concentration value was very highly significant increased in staring sample group and highly significant increased after 2 months, after 4 months, after 8 month group and significant increased in after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was no significant in chronic hepatitis group while it become significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month group and no significant after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.c-T4 The serum T4 concentration value was very highly significant increased in first sample, after 2 months group and highly significant increased in after 4 month group and significant increased after 6 month group and no significant after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was no significant in chronic hepatitis group while it become significant increased in first sample, after 2 months, after 4 month group and no significant in after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.d- F.T4 The serum FT4 concentration value was highly significant increased in staring sample group and significant increased after 2 months, after 4 month group and no significant after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it become significant increased in first sample, after 2 months group and no significant after 4 months after 6 month after 8 month group in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.5- The effect on pituitary gland a- TSH The serum TSH concentration value was Very highly significant decreased in staring sample group and highly significant decreased after 2 months, after 4 month group and no significant after 6 month after 8 months group in thyrotoxicosis patient while it was no significant in chronic hepatitis group and also no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.6- The effect of parathyroid gland a- PTH The serum PTH concentration value was no significant in thyrotoxicosis patient, chronic hepatitis group and thyrotoxicosis patient with hepatic disturbances group when compared with the value recorded in the control group.According to the results of the present work, it can be concluded that thyrotoxicosis and chronic hepatitis have larger effect on body organ chemistry and immunology.
