Abstract

The main of the present study was to investigate the behivor of natural and solar-heatedforced air passing through wheat grains.The specific objectives can be summerized as follows :
1-To study the feasibility of using the plastic solar greehouse (span form)as asimple solar collector for heating the drying air.
2-To experimentally determine the resistance to airflow in acommon variety of wheat (sakha 61) as affected by the following variables grain moisture content, grain bulk density,airflow rate and the entering air characteristics.
3-To distinguish between the behavior of natural and solar- heated air in removing moisture from wheat grains during daytime periods.
4-To develop empirical equations ,in which,describing the relationship betweenthe pressure DROP of druing air and the experimental variables.
