Abstract
The current study is aiming to determine the impact of nutritional regimen on the peptic ulcer pain among patients at Shebin El-Kom Hospitals.
Setting:
The study was conducted at medical ward of the Menoufyia University and Shebin El-Kom Hospitals.
Subjects:
A convenient sample of (60) patients with peptic ulcer were randomly and alternatively divided into two equal groups; (30) for each group :
Intervention group (I) was exposed to therapeutic diet and medical treatment.
Control group (II) was exposed to medical treatment only.
The patients had been selected according to the following criteria :-
Adult male and female patients diagnosed as peptic ulcer without any complication.
Conscious and agree to participate in the study
Not receive other therapeutic diet
Variables:
The independent variable in this study was the nutritional regimen provided for the patients with peptic ulcer while the dependent variable was the peptic ulcer pain among patients at Shebin El-Kom Hospitals.
