Abstract
تتناول الرسالة تقييم وتقسيم جودة خزان البترول برواسب مكون البحرية وعضوي أبو رواش ج،ھ الكريتاوية في خمسة آباربحقل أبو غراديق. وفد تم ذلك من خلال دراسة سجلات هذه الآبار وفحص معملي تفصيلي لعدد مائتين وإحدي عشر عينة مأخوذة من ثماني عشرة عينة لبية من هذه الآبار، بهدف التعرف علي السحنات الصخرية وظواهر تغيرات ما بعد الترسيب والخصائص البتروفيزيائية لها. كما استفاد، من أجل الوصول إلي النتائج التي توصل إليها، من إجراء دراسة لبعض العلاقات بين نتائج فحصه المعملي ونتائج النفاذية والمسامية، مع مقارنتها مع بعض سجلات الآبار الكهربية.

The thesis deals with petroleum reservoir evaluation and quality classification in the Cretaceous Bahariya Formation and the Abu Roash C&E members. This was studied in 5 wells drilled in Abu Gharadig Field of the Abu Gharadig Basin. Well logs and 211 thin sections from 18 cores were investigated for their facies types and their diagenetic features, beside their petrophysical characteristics. Interrelationships between the results of the laboratory investigation and the results of porosity and permeability analyses were used, in correlation with the well logs, to reach the reservoir characterization of the mentioned units.
