Abstract
The present investigation was suggested to :
1-Determine the ability to detect drought tolerant genotypes of maize under water deficiency in field and via embryo culture techniques in vitro.
2-Determining the combining ability of selectable valuable lines to combine into asynthetic cultivars or hybrids.
