Abstract
The present investigation was conducted at the Farm of the Yacolt of Agriculture, Assiut University
1980 and 1981 seasons. The main objective was to
the variability in some vegetative and agronomic charters of hundred grain sorghum entries representing troupes, i.e. , flinty local accessions which were collected
in farmer’s fields at Assiut and Sohag provinces in addict to seven Giza cultivars md three exotic cultivars.
Those entries were evaluated for earliness, some vegetative characters, grain yield and yield components as well as often content to detect the genetic variation among the I fries. Moreover, all possible simple correlation coefficient— among the studied characters were estimated.
