Abstract
The present investigation was carried out at the Exper— bal Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut Univerduring the 1992 and 1993 seasons. The main objective
his work is to study the effect of irrigation regimes nitrogen fertilization levels on growth, agronamic and ,d characteristics in sunflower. irrigation regimes : no stress (C) , skipping irrigation during vegetative

Nitrogen fertilization levels were zero, 20, 40 and 60
N/fed. The experiment was laid out in split plot design .th four replications. Moisture stress treatments were as.gned to the main plots and the nitrogen levels to the sub.ots. Sowing was carried out on June 29th and 26th in 1992 Ld 1993 seasons, respectively. Measurements were taken on efollowing characters:
