Abstract SUMMARY This study was conducted at the animal production epartment Faculty of Agriculture, Am—Shams university, and mgcotoxmn lab., National research center, Cairo—Egypt. A total of 76 mature female Oouscat rabbits were used in studg, Anima)s were divided into 4 experimental groups: coup 7, 2 and 3 received aflatoxin (50 pg/kg. ft W) daily luring the first, second and third trimesters of the gestation nod, respectively, while group 4 was untreated control Each experimental group was classified into two ibgroups: A; sauriffted immediate1j after the end of eatment anti 8., sacrificed one month after the end of reatment. Slood picture, histopathologicel and histochemical h8nges in the liver and mammary glands were studisd. The wItsobtained in this study could be summarized as follow tn subgroups A, aflatoxin treatment had no significant effect on blood haemoglobin, ergthrocytes and leukocytes concentration, and percentage of neutrophils. However, leukocytes concentration tended to increase while neutrophits (%) tended to decrease in response to aflatoxin treatment.
