Abstract
White rot of onion caused by sclerotium cepivorum berk. Is one of the most serious diseases of onion and it is more difficult to be controlled under field conditions. The present study was carried out during the period from 1998 to 2002 at laboratory and greenhouse at the onion disease department, plant pathology research institute, Agriculture research center, and plant pathology department, Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University.
